The computer lab is equipped with 25 desktop machines, and an instructor’s machine all connected to the Internet. All of the machines use Windows XP and have current licenses for Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Also, each machine has Kid Pix and Type to Learn applications under license. The SmartBoard is used for whole-class instruction. Each classroom has a Windows XP machine primarily for the teacher’s use.

They also learn to problem solve and play roles in a global community where knowledge and information are expanding exponentially.
