2011 Talent Show Recap

This past Saturday night the St. Ann Parish Center experienced a full house for the 2011 St. Ann Catholic School Talent Show. It was a night full of amazing performances that included everything from comedy and acting to magic and musical performances. It was great to see so many friends and families there to cheer on the amazing performers. Thanks to everyone that helped put on the show and to everyone that performed. Here’s a video montage of photos taken during the event.

Don’t Say No To The USO

This year’s spring musical “Don’t Say NO to the USO” at St. Ann Catholic School was another huge success. The musical was performed by the 8th grade class along with some 7th graders to help round out the cast. The students began rehearsals the week after Thanksgiving and performed the play the first weekend in March. This is also the 70th anniversry of the USO, so the students donated a portion of the play proceeds to the USO organization.

The play was directed and choreographed by Mrs. Chris Hudson, our school secretary, and Mrs. Jane Kayser, a former St. Ann teacher.

Mr. Al Fischer, our music teacher, was a huge help in teaching the students all the music.

Below is a video remix of photos taken during the March 5th performance.

Go Crusaders! – Music & Lyrics

Back in December we posted the video below of our new school song written by our very own music teacher, Mr. Fischer.  To make sure everyone learns the words of the song we are posting them below for your learning pleasure.  Make sure you study them diligently as you never know when your kids will break out into the school song and ask you to join in.

Special thanks to Mr. Stephen Engelmeyer for providing the video footage.

GO CRUSADERS!

GO, CRUSADERS, SPREAD THE LOVE OF JESUS!

GO, CRUSADERS, O’ER LAND AND SEA!

WE’RE GONNA CHEER OUR TEAM WHILE WE SPREAD THE LOVE OF JESUS;

CHEER FOR ST. ANN’S OF NORMANDY!

SO GIVE A “C” FOR COMMITMENT,

GIVE AN “R” FOR THE RIGHT,

A “U” FOR THE UNITY WE ALWAYS KEEP IN SIGHT,

AN “S-A-D” FOR THE SADNESS THAT’S NO MORE THAN JUST A DREAM,

AN “E-R” FOR THE “ER, I WONDER WHO’S OUR FAV’RITE TEAM?!”

GIVE ME A CRUS!

GIVE ME A SADE!

GIVE ME A DERS!

CRU-SAD-ERS! HO!

GO, CRUSADERS, SPREAD THE LOVE OF JESUS!

GO, CRUSADERS, O’ER LAND AND SEA!

WE’RE GONNA CHEER OUR TEAM WHILE WE SPREAD THE LOVE OF JESUS,

SPREAD IT ALL AROUND FOR ALL TO SEE!

WE’RE ON A QUEST, LIKE TRUE CRUSADERS SHOULD BE.

ST. ANN SCHOOL!  YAY!

Something cute for Christmas!

I don’t think it gets any cuter than this my friends.  Today the students in the St. Ann Early Childhood Center put on their annual Christmas program for family and friends.  The kids were super cute and did a great job of singing and standing still.  To help brighten your day we’re pleased to present a video remix of some photos taken at today’s program.  And as a bonus we have the photos below as well which are hosted on our school Flickr account.  We hope you enjoy!
