Our unique, play-based, individualized program focuses on each child’s developmental needs and promotes a positive, secure, and accepting environment. The Center has an enclosed outdoor play area built just for little learners, a new indoor gross motor room and a STEM technology area.
Our curriculum is play-based, focusing on fun, hands-on activities that help students grow physically, socially, emotionally, cognitively, and spiritually. Our philosophy is based on the child development theories of NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children), Project Construct, and the ABCs of Archdiocesan Parish Child Care Programs.
Our highly qualified and experienced staff create a loving atmosphere in which children are excited to learn. Children learn in a stimulating Christian environment. The goal of the St. Ann Early Childhood Center is not only to prepare children for Kindergarten at St. Ann Catholic School but to also develop a love of learning that will last a lifetime.
We are proud that the St. Ann Early Childhood Center program has been accredited by the Missouri Accreditation of Programs for Children and Youth from day one meeting the Criteria for High-Quality Early Childhood Programs. Being held accountable to the state’s rigorous standards is important to us because we want you to know our commitment to the welfare of your children. We hold ourselves to the highest standards because parents entrust us with their precious children. Accreditation assures an environment that is safe, secure, and accepting of young children.
