St. Ann School has an active Boy Scout Troop that has been in existence since Nov. 27th 1951. Troop 516 has a pack for boys age 6-11, a troop for boys age 11-18 and a Venture Crew for young men and women age 14-21. To date, this Boy Scout Troop has produced 38 Eagle Scouts! The Boy Scouts are an integral part of the St. Ann Community. At Christmas the boys visit the Sisters at the nearby Good Shepherd Convent. Their Scouting for Food program collects canned goods for local food pantries. St. Ann Parishioners look forward to the Boy Scout pancake breakfast held twice a year.
In addition to these service activities, the Scouts participate in the Pinewood Derby, camping, hiking, skiing, laser tag and float trips. This troop of 39 boys is led by dedicated, caring adults.
