On Wednesday Oct. 27th the Saints were marching at St. Ann School! Students from the 3rd grade dressed up as their favorite saint and processed down the aisle at the beginning of the all school mass. The saints led the congregation in song and were featured in Father Bill’s homily. After mass, the saints gathered in the cafeteria and spoke to visiting students and parents about their saint. Finally, the saints walked over and visited the sister at the Convent of the Good Shepherd.

On Wednesday Oct. 28th the Third Grade participated in the annual saints mass. Each student chose a saint to research. At the all-school mass, the students processed down the aisle dressed as their saint and led the congregation with their singing. After mass the students set up a “saints” museum in the cafeteria. People from the parish, parents and other students were able to walk around and hear the saints tell about their lives. The following day the saints went to the Mother of Good Shepherd convent to visit with the sisters. The sisters loved the visit.
Great job 3rd graders and Mrs. Joiner!
