Julie Thompson Emerson Excellence Award Winner

Congratulations!  Mrs. Julie Thompson, gr. 6-8 math & social studies teacher, has received the Emerson Excellence in Teaching Award 2015. 

Emerson annually recognizes more than 100 educators i the St. Louis Metropolitan area pre-school through college professors who are examples of educators in their field.  Mrs. Thompson is one of only 4 Awardees from Catholic schools.  She will be honored at a special award ceremony on November 22 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Clayton.

Over the last 4 years, 3 other St. Ann teachers have received this award:  2014 Ms. Dana Aubuchon 3rd grade teacher, 2013 Mrs. Julie Chase 4th grade teacher, and 2011 Mrs. Kathy Reid 1st grade teacher.

Kathy Reid wins Emerson Excellence in Teaching Award

Kathy Reid wins Emerson Excellence in Teaching AwardI am very excited to announce that Mrs. Kathy Reid, our amazing first grade teacher, has received the Emerson Excellence in Teaching Award.  This well-deserved award will be presented to her and 4 other Catholic school teachers at a special awards ceremony and reception on Nov. 13 at the Sheldon Concert Hall.  Emerson Electric honors approximately 100 kindergarten through college level educators yearly.  Please join me in congratulating Mrs. Reid on this recognition of her hard work and talent as an educator.
