The St. Ann Parent Organization (SAPO) was founded to coordinate parent volunteer activities, offer growth opportunities for parents and students, and support parent involvement and communication between home and school.

The SAPO Board consists of four officers who hold their positions for a two-year term: President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Every family at St. Ann is automatically considered a member of SAPO.

SAPO is responsible for coordinating several school events. In order to ensure that all school families have the opportunity to be involved in the school community, many of these events require volunteer hours to help them successfully take place.

St. Ann School families are required to volunteer for three SAPO events per year. Families who are unable to complete this obligation will be assessed $33 for each event not completed, up to a maximum of $100.00. Please note that concession stand duty does NOT count towards SAPO volunteer hours (it does, however, meet the requirement of being part of a St. Ann sports teams). Another way to fulfill events is to buy THREE cases of paper. Sign up for these takes place for these activities during Open House Back to School Night as well as throughout the year.

There are a number of activities that count toward the three required events:

Room Parents: K- 8, Garage Sale, Book Fair, St. Nicholas Day, Progressive Dinner, MLK Day of Service, Trivia Night, Catholic Schools Week, Spring Candy Sale, Field Day.

You are welcome to join the SAPO Board at any SAPO meetings that are held during the school year on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 pm in the faculty lounge.
